MY WORK.png

A piece I made for a client on fakeclients.com, the brief asked for a good wordmark logo for sake.com, with the name in mind and the fact that the theme was left to imagination I quickly decided I wanted my design to be a cartoony style logo.

As I was testing out different fonts and shapes I came up with the shape you see here and decided from there that a nature theme would not only be fun to design but would fit in with the cartoony style, thus I designed the logo to represent different animals for the letters giving it a young and colorful presentation style fitting to a childrens petting zoo that would draw in younger audiences with its color use and design that teaches children animals that begin with, whilst also being memorable for the adults alike by being a design that their children would enjoy.

roten logo.png

A piece I made for a client on fakeclients.com, the brief asked for a good wordmark logo for Roten which was a delivery business, I decided I wanted something darker for ease of display on white vans and bright colored paper and utensils.

I went with a more professional looking font so as to seem to the potential customer that this business is one they can trust with their belongings,  after deciding on the font I added the line underneath to almost make it seem like it was underlined making the name stand out and seem more important, I then incorporated the boxes going inside the "O" to represent boxes that the company would be handling making it more memorable and obvious at first glance what the company is about.

Hothead logo (Day 10).png
Finished Scene 1.jpg

This was a piece I made for the 30 day logo challenge, the theme for the day was heat. I wanted a design that would be easy to remember and stand out when seen.

This piece is currently being used as my xbox profile pic and works very well as such.

Gym membership ID badge.png

This was a personal project to test my graphic design skills.

The piece is a gym ID badge, I wanted the design to be simple but eye catching which I achieved through the use of the colors, the logo was designed by me and placed top and centre to show the gym identity and then the barbell image was displayed for added characteristic.

The basic info was shown in an easy and well laid out format making it easy to read and presented well.

Shoe ad 2.png

This was another personal project to test my graphic design skills.

With this I wanted to create an eye catching poster that would be displayed in a shoe shop window.

With this piece I wanted to keep it as simple as possible so as to not overwhelm the viewers but also be as eye catching as possible to anyone that would be walking by, I achieved this with bright, vibrant and complimenting colors and real life imagery of the newest shoes on sale.

HARLEIGH BEFORE.jpg
HARLEIGH AFTER.jpg

This was a 3D scene I made within Maya.

This piece was a personal project to test my simple prop design skills and my scene composition skills.

I first made the table testing my personal texturing skills and decided from there that I wanted the table to be the centre piece and I wanted there to be something on the table to display, with the thought of testing my scene composition skills I decided I wanted to create an artist table that is usually filled with all sorts of items.

I created the individual props and placed them around the table with each creation making the table more and more lifelike, after adding all the props I had created I then lit up the scene using the lamp and a little background light pulling the piece together.

preston tower ad.png

This was another personal project to test my graphic design skills.

With this I wanted to create a professional looking poster that incorporated the "PT" logo I had designed (seen bottom right).

With this piece I had the idea of using some real life photography with typography to create an easy to read and good to look at poster that would not only display the relevant information but also catch the eye.

L&K perfume ad 2 (2).png

This was another personal project to test my graphic design skills.

With this I wanted to create a visually appealing poster.

I achieved this through the use of real life imagery and soft colors, whilst also displaying relevant information and product imagery.

This was a personal project to test my photo touch up skills.

Me and my wife really liked this picture of our 2 year old (at the time) daughter however a few days prior she had an unfortunate fall and had injured her head, since we liked the photo so much I decided I would try to improve the photo.

My first aim was to cover up the injury and blend the skin as best as possible, after this was achieved I set about making the colours more vibrant and added some extra background blur.
